Happy Easter!!!
It’s been slow… really slow since I’ve been back. I haven’t had any paid auditions and have been working heaps, the retail kind. :S But I did get up to a tiny bit. I attended the Alison Telford (ABC Casting Director) workshop on the 15th run by Melbourne Acting Academy. I highly recommend these workshops. They are only $88 and you work closely with people who will get you roles. I did a scene from 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind'. You can check it out below.
I also got back into Student films with ‘Send in the Clowns’. This was my first this year and follows Bailey, a lost soul as she tries to fit in with her troublesome cousin. We got to wear really cool masks. :D This film was created by Lou Cregan from International Film School Sydney.
My face has been making the rounds (most definitely because I have a stunning headshot by the fabulous Marnya Rothe). I was named an eye-catching talent by StarNow and sent to everyones inbox as one of March’s 4 'Eye-Catching Talent'. Nawwwwww. Very nice of my Trivia boss, Jason and fellow-actor friend, Nadia to bring it to my attention.
I’ve also been seeing my face on Facebook pop-up on ads for Marnya Rothe. It’s awfully exciting, especially because I am right next to JackCampbell (All Saints) and Holly Brisley (Home and Away). Please head over and like her pageand most importantly get her to do your headshots.
But probably the most exciting thing that has happened to me this month is that I have found someone that I want to spend the rest of my life with. And it’s wonderful. <3
Till the Month of May!
Much Love xoxo
